Producers of Speed the Plow have filed an official complaint with Actors Equity over Jeremy Piven’s sudden departure from the show. Piven dropped out of the cast last month after making a claim that he had mercury poisoning from eating too much sushi. The guild must not quite buy the story.
Piven, who also stars in HBO’s Entourage, was seen looking great on the red carpet of the Golden Globes last week.
